Local Chapter Membership Benefits

Who Can Join the Los Angeles Chapter?

• To be eligible for membership, a person must be a member of the national ACFE organization.
• Any professional interested in actively participating in the community of fraud and white collar crime professionals in the Los Angeles area.

What is the Process to Join?

First, all prospective members and existing members wanting to renew must register online or by filling out the Chapter Membership Registration and Renewal Form, accompanied by membership dues of $45.00.

Membership Benefits

• LA-ACFE holds many meetings and educational functions each year, providing members with networking opportunities with potential clients and referral sources.
• There are many opportunities to fulfill annual CPE requirements (for the CFE credential) by attending Chapter events; these CPE credits are given for attendance and participation.
• Members are exposed to emerging trends and are able to stay on the leading edge of best practice, by being part of the dialog with other CFEs, practice leaders, and professionals in associated fields.
• There are leadership positions available in the profession, which can be facilitated by getting involved with the LA-ACFE board or related committees.
• Members have the opportunity to raise their professional profile and achieve recognition by giving presentations to the membership in their field of expertise.
• The Los Angeles Chapter frequently holds events with other organizations, such as the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the University of Southern California (USC), giving members exposure and networking opportunities with those groups.
