The digitization of the world is accelerating, creating vast amounts of data and increased complexity to prevent, detect and respond to fraud. MSN Forensics will present a range of case studies showing how investigative data analytics and its visualization can deliver critical insights to support case resolutions. In addition, learn about how a new category of financial risk monitoring for accounting firms and small businesses is providing them with the same data insights previously only available to large companies and enterprise software.

The learning portion of this event will qualify for 2 hours of CPE.



Rob Razani, CPA, CFE, has over 25 years of experience in forensic accounting, auditing, and financial investigations. This includes many years of experience with the IRS practicing forensic accounting, including fraud investigations, forensic and financial monitoring services, forensic consulting, and business valuations.
Rob Razani is also an adjunct professor at the Department of Accounting and Information Systems at California State University, Northridge.  Active member, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), American Accounting Association (AAA).

Mahdi Ghandari has an MBA in accounting and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) with specialization in data analytics and big data visualization that has played a key role in numerous forensic cases throughout his career. Using data and text mining technologies, Mahdi brings unique efficiencies to each case and takes time saving measures that deliver high value for clients. By calibrating and customizing MSN Forenzix technologies to specifications of each case and client, Mahdi ensures that all components of the service offered to the client adds true value.

His extensive forensic accounting experience has been reported in EB-5 fraud investigations to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York and Homeland Security on a multi-million dollar case in construction fraud. He has also been deeply involved in producing Investigation Reports to helps clients being defendant to SEC cases in federal courts.

Andrew Scott brings over 20 years of international technology marketing and sales experience. He has worked for Oracle in Europe and provided global consulting services for IBM, Microsoft and HSBC based out of the U.S and China. Since 2013 he has worked in Silicon Valley B2B software startups deploying big data analytics and AI in the health, retail and SMB markets.
